Chapter 1051: “The Harmon Clan’s Showdown”

At the mighty Harmon family mansion, a dramatic scene unfolded.

As the head of the Harmon Clan, Trent Harmon, gave the signal, a swarm of Harmon family guards, and shadowguards, started pouring out from every nook and cranny of the mansion. It was like a storm was brewing!

The entire mansion buzzed with activity. The guards were all agitated.

“Quick! Surround him! Don’t let this young troublemaker escape!” one guard barked.

“Can you believe it? He dared to cause chaos in Harmon’s mansion! This is going to be interesting!” another guard chimed in.

The commotion grew louder as more and more people, each holding a weapon, gathered around. It was like a grand showdown was about to happen.

But amidst the chaos, Dustin Rhys, our fearless hero, had only just taken a few steps away from the meeting room when he found himself completely surrounded. And guess what? There were around two hundred people, all glaring at him like he was their arch-nemesis.

Most of these folks were Harmon family guards, with a handful of Shadowguards and even some soldiers from the famous Dark Panther Cavalry. They were all under the command of Dylan Harmon,

As a top-ranking officer, Dylan Harmon had quite a few loyal followers.

“Kid, I’d advise you to release my son right now! Otherwise, you’ll be in for a world of hurt!” Jacob, the irate father, yelled.

“Young man, you’re surrounded with no way out. If you release my son, maybe, just maybe, I’ll think about sparing your life,” threatened Trent, Dylan Harmon’s uncle.

“I only want Dylan Harmon’s head. The rest of you should step aside!” Dustin Rhys stated firmly.

“Young man, you’re facing certain doom, and yet you’re putting on a brave face. Open your eyes and see who’s in charge here!” Trent Harmon declared sternly.

Harmon’s mansion had all the firepower and people they needed to deal with a lone intruder like Dustin Rhys. After all, could even the most skilled fighter withstand a barrage of bullets?

Even though Dustin Rhys had defeated Dylan Harmon, it seemed he was still trapped within the walls of Harmon’s mansion. It was like trying to escape a spider’s web.

“Haha! Look at him surrounded by all of Harmon’s might. This is like David versus Goliath!” someone in the crowd commented, watching the drama unfold.

“Exactly! This kid is way too optimistic. Does he think his kung fu is enough to take on all of them? He’s in for a rude awakening!” Collin Quinn sneered.

While Zara Lynn remained silent, she couldn’t help but shake her head. Dustin Rhys was in a tough spot, no doubt about it.

With Harmon’s mansion’s overwhelming firepower, who could possibly escape unscathed?

“Hey, look at this! Surrounded by the Harmons, what chance does he have?” Ella Cooper crossed her arms, a smug grin on her face.

“Incredible! He thinks his fighting skills make him invincible. He’s in for a reality check!” Collin Quinn added.

Although they didn’t voice their opinions, Ella and Zara also had little hope for Dustin Rhys’s situation.

With Harmon’s mansion’s vast resources, it seemed impossible for him to escape.

But Dustin Rhys wasn’t giving up. He scanned the area, his eyes burning with determination.

“All of you with the ‘Harmon’ surname, listen up! I suggest you scatter now, while I’m still feeling generous. Leave this place, and I won’t have to get my hands dirty!” Dustin Rhys’s words had a fiery edge to them.

If it weren’t for his concern for Natasha’s feelings, he might have already turned Harmon’s mansion upside down.

“Calm down, Dylan. That was just an accident,” Trent reassured him, after they almost hit him with a bullet. “We’ll give it another shot, and this time, we won’t miss. Just hang in there; it’ll be over soon.”

Chapter 1052: “The Twist in Harmon’s mansion”

“Ah? You’re still at it?”

When Dylan Harmon heard this, he jumped in fright, his whole body trembling. “Uncle! Bullets don’t discriminate; please don’t do anything reckless, you might hit me!”

Geez!

If they kept this up, he might end up dead at the hands of his own people before Dustin Rhys even got a chance to finish him off!

Besides, a formidable martial artist like him could already dodge bullets. It’s not like he’d be an easy target.

“Trent! Stay calm! Dylan’s life is at stake!” Jacob desperately tried to soothe the situation.

He was genuinely afraid that Trent would act impulsively, open fire indiscriminately, and turn his son into a pincushion.

“Of course, I care about Dylan’s safety, but if we don’t eliminate this kid, how can our Harmon family ever show our faces again?” Trent muttered with a furrowed brow.

“This kid is no pushover. We should get a martial arts expert to deal with him,” Jacob suggested in a hushed tone.

“An expert? Where are we supposed to find one in such a short time? In my opinion, we should just swarm him, chop him up, and hope we don’t make any mistakes.” Trent made a chopping motion with his hand.

“Big brother, let me talk to him first. If I can resolve this peacefully, that would be best,” Jacob said quietly.

“You’ve got three minutes to deal with him,” Trent reluctantly suppressed his murderous intent.

“No problem.”

Jacob nodded and turned his gaze toward Dustin Rhys. He cleared his throat and spoke loudly, “Dustin, please reconsider. You can’t escape from Harmon’s mansion today, but if you release my son, I promise you, we won’t take your life.”

“Dustin Rhys! Listen, release me immediately, or you’ll have no place to hide!” Dylan Harmon menacingly threatened.

Even though he had been defeated by Dustin Rhys, it didn’t mean he was ready to back down. In this world, brute strength wasn’t everything.

People without power and influence often found themselves trampled upon.

“Everyone must be accountable for their actions. If you’ve done wrong, you’ll have to face the consequences. Today, no one can save you,” Dustin Rhys retorted coldly.

“Mr Rhys! Don’t act all tough here. You’re a sitting duck now. If you dare to make a move, you’re walking straight into your own death!” Dylan Harmon sneered.

He had experienced all sorts of situations in his life. How could he be easily frightened?

Moreover, Harmon’s mansion was surrounded by Harmon family soldiers and warriors. What did he have to fear?

“A sitting duck?”

Dustin Rhys snorted, then suddenly made his move, breaking Dylan Harmon’s arm with a snap.

“Ah—!”

Dylan Harmon let out a blood-curdling scream, his face contorted in agony, drenched in sweat.

His arm had already been severed earlier, and now the other one was broken. Both of his hands were completely useless.

“How about my ‘Muscle and Tendon Separation Technique’? Are you satisfied with that?” Dustin Rhys looked down at him with an indifferent expression.

“You bastard! How dare you touch me? You’re dead! I’m going to dismember you!” Dylan Harmon roared in anger.

Dustin Rhys’s face remained cold as he didn’t waste any more words. He delivered another powerful kick.

“Crack!”

Dylan Harmon’s knee shattered, and he collapsed to the ground, screaming even louder this time.

In an instant, his screams filled the air.

“Bastard! You… You dare to harm my son? I’ll slice you into a thousand pieces!” Seeing this, Jacob was beside himself with fury.

He can’t wait and watch it any longer?

“Get him!”

Trent wasted no time and issued a shoot-to-kill order.

He had been growing impatient and saw an opportunity now.

“Kill!”

Just as everyone was about to rush forward…

A horde of henchmen stormed into the Harmon family’s front gate.

They came in waves, numbering in the hundreds.

Chapter 1053: “The Unexpected Revelation”

These black-clad figures all wore red cloth strips tied around their heads, and the emblem of a Kirin (a mythical creature) proudly displayed on their chests.

They were unmistakably disciples of the Kirin Gang!

“Surround them all!”

Leading the charge was Cornelius, who, with a few powerful kicks, directed the Kirin Gang members to encircle the Harmon family entirely.

In terms of armed forces, the Kirin Gang, composed of the elite members from the four major gangs, far outnumbered the Harmon family.

As they surged into the scene, the intimidating presence of the Kirin Gang left everyone awestruck and quaking.

Onlookers quickly retreated, treating this situation as if they were avoiding a nest of vipers.

“Who are you people? How dare you trespass into the Harmon family!” Trent couldn’t help but shout in anger.

“It’s the Kirin Gang! They’re from the Kirin Gang!” someone from the Harmon family exclaimed.

“What? The Kirin Gang?!”

As soon as these words were uttered, many people’s faces changed.

Although the Kirin Gang had been founded not too long ago, its reputation had already spread throughout the entire Millsburg. The Kirin Gang, formed by the four major gangs working together, was undoubtedly a formidable force. Add to that the presence of some mysterious experts, and they were like a tiger with wings.

In terms of power, they even overshadowed the Five Great Houses!

“Who dares to act so recklessly in front of our Master?!”

Cornelius, accompanied by several gang masters, stood firmly behind Dustin Rhys, their imposing presence making a clear statement.

The numerous disciples of the Kirin Gang also gathered around.

Although they remained silent, their attitude spoke volumes.

“You… you’re the boss of the Kirin Gang?!”

Seeing Dustin Rhys as their leader, the Harmon family members were shocked and amazed.

They had heard rumors about the Kirin Gang and knew of its might. However, nobody could have anticipated that the mastermind behind it all would be the seemingly ordinary and impoverished young man, Dustin Rhys!

“Oh my God! This guy has such a powerful background?!”

Collin Quinn’s eyes widened in astonishment. He had believed that Dustin Rhys was just a penniless guy, but it seemed that he was much more formidable than anyone could have imagined.

In his early twenties, he had already become a dominant force in the region. It was truly awe-inspiring.

Thinking about his own actions earlier, Collin Quinn felt his scalp tingle, filled with fear and trepidation.

“How… how is this possible? He’s dressed so shabbily, how could he be the boss of the Kirin Gang?!”

Ella Cooper was in disbelief.

The Kirin Gang now controlled all the underground power in the Millsburg and had established its own set of rules. They had essentially become the unrivaled kings of the underworld, even surpassing the Harmon family.

The rumored leader of the Kirin Gang was considered the underground emperor of the entire Millsburg!

She couldn’t believe that such a top-notch bigshot turned out to be an unassuming young man dressed in rags.

“We all completely misjudged him!”

Zara Lynn regretfully said, gulping.

If they had tried a little harder earlier, maybe they could have changed their fate.

“No wonder… no wonder he dared to stir up trouble here. It turns out he was well-prepared!”

Trent furrowed his brow, his expression turning sour.

Judging by the numbers alone, the Harmon family had a low chance of winning if they fought.

“I must take Dylan Harmon away today. If anyone dares to obstruct me, don’t blame me for killing without hesitation!” Dustin Rhys declared with an icy tone.

“Dustin Rhys! Spare a thought for the future! Don’t push things too far!” Jacob shouted.

“Push things too far?”

Dustin Rhys sneered, “Considering Natasha’s feelings, I’ve already shown restraint. Otherwise, every one of you would be dead by now!”

Chapter 1054: “Unexpected Reinforcements”

“Hey, you! Don’t get too cocky!” Jacob stared, shouting, “Even if you’re the boss of the Kirin Gang, what of it? Do you think you can control everything? Don’t forget, my son is a senior officer of the Dark Panther Cavalry!”

“You’re absolutely right!” Dylan Harmon grinned menacingly, “I serve directly under the Scarlet Warrior Goddess of War as part of the Dark Panther Cavalry. If you dare to kill me, you’ll be digging your own grave!”

“Young man, calm down!” Trent’s face darkened as he said, “If you release Dylan, we won’t pursue this matter any further. But if you insist on a fight, our Harmon family won’t back down either.”

Although the Kirin Gang was formidable, the Harmon family was no pushover. With decades of establishment, numerous allies, and an extensive web of interests, they had support from all directions.

To put it bluntly, when the Harmon family faced trouble, help came from all sides.

“I don’t care who your backers are, and I’m not interested in your backgrounds. All I have to say is that Dylan Harmon must die!” Dustin suddenly made his move, grabbing Dylan Harmon’s neck and lifting him up.

If he couldn’t take him away, he would have to kill him here and now.

“Ugh…”

Dylan Harmon felt his breath stagnate, his face turning red.

A sense of impending doom began to creep over him.

“Stop!”

A shrill cry suddenly rang out.

Following that, Kate Harmon, dressed in fine clothing, rushed in with around a hundred people.

These people were all elites from the Grant Family, including two groups of Wolf Guards overseeing the situation. Their strength was not to be underestimated!

“Kate? You’ve finally arrived!”

Seeing this scene, Jacob’s face lit up as if he had seen a savior.

Since he had followed Tyler Grant, Kate Harmon’s status in the family had risen to great heights. Even Trent, as the family head, had to consider his opinions.

“Daughter, your arrival is timely. With your forces, your father can finally rest easy.” Trent breathed a sigh of relief.

Although the Harmon family was lacking in comparison to the Kirin Gang, adding the Grant Family’s elite forces to their side changed the situation entirely.

“Sister Kate! Save me!” Dylan Harmon struggled, his voice hoarse.

“Young man! You’re getting too arrogant! Release Dylan immediately!” Kate Harmon, with an imposing demeanor, took on the role of the elder sister.

Ever since hearing about the trouble at the Harmon family, she had rushed over with her team just in time to arrive.

“Kate! Did you have something to do with the car accident?” Kate Harmon furrowed her brows when she heard this.

“What car accident?” Kate Harmon’s voice trembled.

“If it has nothing to do with you, then leave!” Dustin said bluntly.

“Insolence!”

“Presumptuous!”

“You arrogant brat! How dare you show disrespect to the young madam! Today, this old man will teach you a lesson!”

Dustin’s words immediately infuriated the Grant Family members.

Especially the thin old man who was with Kate Harmon. He flew up without a word and reached out to grab Dustin, shouting, “You wretch! Prepare to die!”

“Get out!”

Cornelius leaped up and slapped the thin old man hard in the chest. The old man let out a miserable cry and was sent flying more than ten meters before crashing into a nearby lotus pond.

His life or death was uncertain.

“Hmm?”

The sudden turn of events left the Grant Family members with solemn expressions.

The thin old man who had just been there was a formidable expert invited by the Grant Family. Yet, he had disappeared with just one encounter. Wasn’t this too unbelievable?

“Pathetic!”

Chapter 1055: “The Arrival of the Hill Family”

Cornelius dusted off his sleeves and stood back behind Dustin.

“Hey, you! Today is a day of great celebration for my father’s rise to power. I warn you not to cause trouble here!” Kate Harmon shouted sternly.

She had undergone significant changes herself. As the Grant Family’s lady, she had the privilege to command over half of the family’s resources and forces. This was the privilege granted to her by Tyler Grant and a symbol of her meteoric rise.

“And what if I do? Can you people stop me?” Dustin replied coldly.

“If the Harmon family can’t, then what if we add our forces?” A loud voice resounded at the entrance.

Everyone turned to look and saw a group of spirited elite warriors walking in.

These warriors were all dressed uniformly, with strong and robust bodies, exuding an intimidating presence.

Their powerful aura made everyone unconsciously step back, feeling a sense of fear.

“It’s the Hill Family! The elite warriors of the Hill Family!”

“What’s going on? Why has the Hill Family shown up?”

“Judging by their formation, this should be the most elite force of the Hill Family!”

After seeing the situation, the crowd began to buzz with discussion.

No one had expected that the Hill Family would interfere at this crucial moment.

The Hill Family was an ancient martial family, and most of its members were martial arts experts. In terms of combat strength alone, this force was far superior to the Grant Family’s elite troops!

“Dustin, how do you think it would go if we added our forces to fight against your Kirin Gang?” a middle-aged man in fine clothing walked out from the crowd.

Behind him, Summer Hill and her group followed.

“Who are you?” Dustin squinted slightly.

“I am Summer Hill, ranked second in my family.”

Summer Hill calmly said, “You’ve caused chaos in my Hill Family, with deaths and injuries. Don’t you think you owe us an explanation?”

“I’ve already given an explanation for the death of the former alliance leader. The murderer was from your own side. As for the details, you should ask your elder brother,” Dustin replied.

“Hmph! If it weren’t for you meddling and adding fuel to the fire, my Hill Family wouldn’t have suffered such heavy losses. You think it’s possible to just shirk responsibility with a few words?” Summer Hill’s face gradually darkened.

“This mastermind! He killed my father and harmed our family. We are irreconcilable with him!” Summer Hill roared.

The death of his father had been etched in his memory, and he had harbored a deep grudge.

But because Dustin’s strength was overwhelming, he had never had the opportunity for revenge.

Now, with the return of his second uncle to oversee the situation and the support of the Harmon family and Grant Family, the day of reckoning for avenging his father’s death seemed imminent!

“So, you all want to stand with the Harmon family and oppose me?” Dustin raised an eyebrow.

“That’s right! You’re a menace, and everyone wants to eliminate you!” Summer Hill declared loudly.

“Hahaha… good!”

Trent couldn’t help but burst into laughter, “Many thanks, Summer, for your assistance today. We will surely repay this favor in the future!”

With the support of both the Grant Family and the Hill Family, even if Dustin had god-like abilities, he would have a difficult time escaping today!

“Even the Hill Family is here. It looks like this guy is in big trouble!”

“The Harmon family, Grant Family, and Hill Family—a combination of two top-tier families and one powerhouse. With these three major families working together, who can contend against them in the entire province?”

“The Kirin Gang is in dire straits today!”

“Humph! Even if he’s the boss of the Kirin Gang, what can he do? Offending so many major powers will surely lead to his downfall!”

The successive turn of events had everyone in discussion.

Especially with the addition of the Hill Family, the entire situation had been completely reversed.

At this moment, everyone was convinced that Dustin had no way to turn the tide.

Chapter 1056: “Facing Three Major Forces”

“Faced with the siege of three major forces, even a newly crowned underground emperor can only wait to be captured. This guy is doomed today!”

In the crowd, Collin smirked, inexplicably pleased.

“They say that one should keep a low profile, but he’s so arrogant. If he dies, it’s his own fault!”

Ella crossed her arms, showing a bit of schadenfreude.

Due to her initial bias, she couldn’t stand Dustin, so she was eager to see him suffer.

“It looks like there’s no way out for him now,” Zara shook her head.

In this grand scenario, she could only watch from afar and had no chance to get closer.

“Kid! Now you’re a sitting duck. I warn you, surrender immediately!” Trent stood with his hands behind his back, regaining his composure.

“Dustin! Don’t struggle futilely anymore. You have no chance of winning. Surrender gracefully!” Jacob’s face turned grim, and a killing intent flickered in his eyes.

No matter what, they wouldn’t let Dustin off easily today. A menace like him had to be killed, or they would face endless troubles.

But before that, they needed to rescue Dylan Harmon.

“Hehehe…”

Captured by Dustin, Dylan Harmon suddenly laughed sinisterly, “Dustin, oh Dustin, you’re the boss of the Kirin Gang, so what? Even if you can fight, what difference does it make? Look around you; they’re all my people. How can you compete with me? If you’re smart, kneel down and begging to me right now, and I might consider sparing you.”

“Spare me? Hmph…”

Dustin replied indifferently, “Do you really think these people can save you? If I want to kill you, no one can stop me!”

“Keep pretending! Continue pretending! It seems you still don’t understand what it means to be outnumbered!” Dylan Harmon shouted.

The appearance of the elite members of the Hill Family compensated for the lack of martial experts, and now they were thoroughly overwhelming the Kirin Gang.

“So what if there are more people? They’re just a group of ragtag individuals, completely unworthy of my attention.” Dustin didn’t hold back.

“Arrogant!”

“Insolent!”

Hearing this, many warriors scolded angrily.

One after another, they cracked their knuckles and attempted to teach Dustin, this ignorant guy, a lesson.

They were all carefully selected elites and didn’t appreciate being called ragtag.

“This guy is way too arrogant, isn’t he? He’s not even taking the central figures of three major forces seriously.”

“Humph! Such a person is all talk; he’ll be put in his place soon.”

“At such a young age, he really doesn’t know the height of the sky and the depth of the earth!”

Facing the ridicule, Dustin remained silent. Instead, he raised his hand and gently waved it towards the front.

“Whoosh!”

A crescent-shaped martial energy, like a large blade, burst out from his body, soared over the crowd’s heads, and then cleaved into a man-made mountain near a pond.

“Bang!”

The mountain exploded into pieces, scattering debris everywhere.

The crowd fell silent, their eyes wide and jaws dropped in shock.

Chapter 1057: “How is This Possible?”

With a deafening roar, the entire ten-meter-tall man-made mountain shattered into pieces and turned to ashes. The entire pond was split in two, with the water even briefly exhibiting a diversion phenomenon, like a block of tofu cut by a knife.

It was extremely horrifying!

Seeing this scene, the entire place fell into a deathly silence. Everyone stared wide-eyed, their faces filled with disbelief.

From dozens of meters away, with just a single knife-hand strike, he had destroyed a rock-made mountain and simultaneously split the entire pond in half.

Was this still a human being?!

“I… I must be seeing things, right? Is this guy really a Grandmaster?”

“Wait a minute! I remember now! There’s a young Martial Grandmaster who’s been making a name for himself in the martial world recently. Could it be him?!”

“My goodness! What kind of monster is this guy? He’s in his early twenties and has already become a Martial Grandmaster. It’s terrifying!”

After a brief moment of silence, the surroundings erupted in commotion.

Shock, astonishment, fear, reverence—all kinds of expressions were present.

In particular, Ella Cooper, Collin Quinn, and Zara Lynn were left dumbfounded.

They hadn’t even dreamed that Dustin had this identity.

A Martial Grandmaster was already an unattainable existence for them.

They didn’t even have the qualifications to look up to him.

“How… how is this possible?!”

Trent’s face was filled with astonishment, and he couldn’t laugh anymore.

Who could have predicted that this guy, who usually kept a low profile, was actually a powerful Martial Grandmaster?

This was a big problem!

In fact, it wasn’t just Trent. At this moment, everyone in the Harmon family was in shock, unable to believe it.

This blow was too great for them.

If it had just been the leader of the Kirin Gang, it wouldn’t have been a big deal. However, when coupled with the identity of a Martial Grandmaster, the significance was completely different.

For ordinary people, a Martial Grandmaster was an entirely different level of existence, described as “invincible.”

These so-called elites and experts were truly no match in front of a Martial Grandmaster.

“How about it? Do you still think someone can save you now?”

Dustin looked down at Dylan Harmon with indifference.

He wanted to let the other party experience fear and despair.

“You… How could you…”

Dylan Harmon’s face was filled with fear, and he trembled all over, unable to speak.

He hadn’t even dreamed that the little guy he used to look down on would turn out to be someone he had to look up to.

Most importantly, if a Martial Grandmaster wanted to kill him, who could stop him?

“Trent, do you have anything else to say?”

Dustin slowly raised his head and cast a sharp gaze over the crowd.

Trent’s face stiffened, and he was left speechless.

Although they had the assistance of the Grant Family and the Hill Family, they still had no chance of winning against a Martial Grandmaster.

If they insisted on stopping him, they would only suffer heavy casualties.

“I want to take Dylan Harmon and leave. If anyone has any objections, speak up now.”

Dustin scanned the surroundings, and anyone who met his gaze lowered their heads in silence.

Who would dare to challenge a Martial Grandmaster head-on? Wasn’t that seeking death?

“I object!”

Suddenly, a thunderous voice echoed in the sky.

Chapter 1058: “I Object!”

“I object!”

“What does being a Martial Grandmaster matter? Can he really cover the sky with one hand?”

Accompanied by a dignified voice.

A middle-aged man in a military uniform, burly and imposing, stepped forward first.

The man had a commanding presence with stars on his shoulders, a solemn face, and a majestic and domineering demeanor that made people not dare to meet his gaze.

Not only that, but behind the middle-aged man were a group of fully armed elite soldiers.

These soldiers wore face masks, black armor, carried long knives on their waists, and exuded a strong sense of solemnity and killing intent all over their bodies.

They looked heroic and formidable.

It was clear to anyone with discerning eyes that this was a group of battle-hardened and battle-tested warriors!

“General Whitman!”

Seeing the middle-aged man, Dylan Harmon couldn’t help but be overjoyed, as if he had seen a savior.

The despair in his eyes was once again replaced by hope.

“He’s here, he’s finally here! A big shot has finally arrived!”

Jacob was both shocked and delighted, and his expression was filled with excitement.

He had just thought that his son was beyond saving, but luckily reinforcements had arrived in time.

“My goodness! Isn’t that General Wesley Whitman Zhao? Why is he here?!”

“Excuse me, but is General Wesley Whitman really powerful?”

“Nonsense! General Wesley Whitman is one of the four great generals of the Dark Panther Cavalry. His status is second only to the Scarlet Warrior Goddess of War. He commands a hundred thousand troops and can be said to be a ruler of his own territory!”

“Wow! He’s that amazing?”

“General Wesley Whitman has personally arrived with his troops. We’re in for a treat!”

When General Wesley Whitman entered, the entire place erupted.

Dragonmarsh had five elite divisions, each stationed in different regions, and the Dark Panther Cavalry was one of them.

Commanded by the strongest female Goddess of War in Dragonmarsh, Scarlett Spanner, it was followed by four generals, each of whom was invincible in battle and dominated the region.

Especially General Wesley Whitman, not only was he incredibly powerful and had a profound understanding of warfare, but he was also a member of the same clan as the Scarlet Warrior Goddess of War, which earned him great respect.

In the entire Dark Panther Cavalry, he was second to none, a ruler of ten thousand troops.

As long as he gave the command, thousands of elite soldiers would come roaring in.

Gods against gods, Buddhas against Buddhas!

“So this is the big shot that the Harmon family invited today. He’s truly extraordinary!”

Trent’s spirits were lifted.

“With General Whitman here, even if he’s a Martial Grandmaster, we have nothing to fear!” Dylan couldn’t hide his joy.

“Even General Wesley Whitman came to lend his support. It seems that Dylan Harmon is highly regarded in the military!” Summer Hill showed a pleasantly surprised expression.

“Hmph! Let’s see how this kid ends up today!” Summer Hill sneered.

The appearance of General Wesley Whitman instantly changed the entire situation.

Before, everyone had been hesitant to make a move against Dustin because they were wary of his strength.

Now, the situation was different. With General Wesley Whitman and the elite troops of the Dark Panther Cavalry, they could completely suppress Dustin.

After all, no matter how powerful a person was in the martial world, they couldn’t compete with an army.

“General Whitman, please save me! This kid wants to kill me!”

Seeing General Wesley Whitman approaching, Dylan Harmon immediately began to cry for help.

“Don’t worry, with me here today, no one can harm you.”

General Wesley Whitman took a big step forward, and his sharp gaze pierced Dustin as he coldly said, “What are you still waiting for? Do you see me here? Release him immediately!”

“General Wesley Whitman, isn’t it? I advise you not to meddle in this matter to avoid getting yourself into trouble,” Dustin said indifferently.

“Bold! How dare you address General Whitman by name? Are you tired of living?” A vice-general of the Dark Panther Cavalry scolded sternly.

“Young man, do you know what the consequences are for speaking to me like this?” General Wesley Whitman squinted his eyes and his gaze turned unfriendly.

“General Whitman, this young man is a Martial Grandmaster, and his strength should not be underestimated,” Jacob reminded from the side.

“So what? He’s just a martial world upstart, not worth mentioning!” General Wesley Whitman snorted.

A Martial Grandmaster might be powerful, but they could only handle a few hundred or a few thousand people at most.

Chapter 1059: Unyielding

“And you, Mr Rhys! Can’t you hear me? Your so-called pride in your strength is insignificant in front of General Whitman. If you don’t want to be shot to death, surrender now!” Dylan Harmon grinned.

With General Whitman’s presence and the backing of the Dark Panther Cavalry, what did he have to fear?

Even if he was a Martial Grandmaster, would he dare to openly challenge an army?

“Wesley Whitman, I’ll warn you again, take your people and leave now” Dustin said coldly.

“Hmm?”

General Wesley Whitman frowned, “A mere martial world upstart dares to threaten me? Are you looking for death?”

“I’m giving you a chance, or else once we start fighting, you’ll regret it,” Dustin warned.

“Fight?” General Wesley Whitman was momentarily surprised, then burst into laughter, “Kid! Don’t you understand the situation yet? You’re completely surrounded, and as soon as I give the order, all of you will be shot to pieces!”

“You better not force me,” Dustin squinted his eyes.

“Force you? What can you do?” General Wesley Whitman sneered, “Do you really think a Martial Grandmaster is invincible? With my hundred thousand troops, I can reduce you to ashes in an instant!”

“That’s right! With a hundred thousand Dark Panther Cavalry, no one in the world can stop us!”

“Indeed, Martial Grandmasters are powerful, but they can only kneel before the might of an army!”

Many people chimed in, agreeing wholeheartedly.

In their view, no matter how skilled an individual was, they were completely powerless against true power and authority.

No matter how high their martial arts were, they would still be afraid of guns and cannons.

“Kid! I’ll count to three!” General Wesley Whitman extended three fingers, “After three, if you don’t surrender, don’t blame me for going all out!”

“One…”

“Two…”

“Three…”

As the three words fell, Dustin’s figure suddenly flashed and appeared in front of General Wesley Whitman.

The two faced each other, with only half a meter between them.

“You…”

General Wesley Whitman’s pupils contracted, and he was about to step back, but he was caught by Dustin by the neck and immediately restrained, “If you dare to mess around, I’ll kill you first.”

General Wesley Whitman felt his breath stall, his face instantly turning red, his entire body as if it had been electrocuted, unable to move, and could only allow himself to be slaughtered.

“Bold!”

“Let General Whitman go!”

This sudden turn of events startled everyone.

Especially the soldiers of the Dark Panther Cavalry, who raised their guns one after another and aimed them at Dustin.

But hindered by the hostage, they didn’t dare to open fire lightly.

“Kid! You actually dare to take General Whitman hostage? You’re really daring! Do you think you can resist a hundred thousand troops?” General Wesley Whitman shouted sternly.

“A hundred thousand troops, of course, I can’t resist them, but to kill you, I only need to lift a finger.” Dustin said coldly.

“Do you dare!” General Wesley Whitman stared, “If you dare to touch a single hair on me, you’ll be dismembered!”

“Do I dare?” Dustin asked in return, “I’m just a lone man. If I kill you, I can easily escape. Even if you have a hundred thousand troops, where can you find me?”

“You—!”

General Wesley Whitman was momentarily speechless, and a hint of panic flashed in his eyes.

He had been too overconfident just now, which led to him overlooking one thing.

A hundred thousand troops could indeed obliterate a Martial Grandmaster.

The problem was, what could a Martial Grandmaster do if they wanted to escape from a hundred thousand troops?

Thinking of this, General Wesley Whitman suddenly broke out in a cold sweat.

Damn it, he had made a mistake this time!

Chapter 1060: The Ultimatum

“Wesley Whitman, do you still want to meddle in this?” Dustin slowly increased the pressure with his fingers, digging deeper into the flesh.

At this moment,Wesley Whitman found it increasingly difficult to breathe, and his heartbeat was like a drumbeat.

“Kid! I warn you not to mess around!” Wesley Whitman gritted his teeth and pretended to remain calm, “Taking a Third-Rank General hostage is a grave crime. Even if the military can’t catch you, don’t forget, there’s still the Garrison Office. If you harm me, the Garrison Office will never let you off!”

Scholars use words to transgress the law, while martial artists transgress the law with force.

To manage martial world experts, an official organization called the Garrison Office was specifically established!

The Garrison Office was home to talents and powerful individuals, with an enormous influence.

It was a mountain that no martial artist in the world could surpass.

Although the Garrison Office usually didn’t interfere with martial world affairs, as long as a martial artist dared to kill innocents or harm high-ranking officials, the Garrison Office would immediately step in to eliminate the threat!

At that time, even if it was a Grandmaster who stood at the pinnacle of the world, they would be hunted down and killed by the Garrison Office!

For martial artists, the Garrison Office had absolute deterrence!

To the point where it made people shudder.

“Do you think I’m afraid to kill you?” Dustin’s eyes gradually turned cold.

“I’m just reminding you not to dig your own grave!” Wesley Whitman spoke righteously, “You’re young and have achieved so much; it’s not easy. With time, I believe you can achieve even greater heights. But if you commit taboos, not only will your future be ruined, but you’ll also bring about your own death. Think carefully.”

“So, are you going to stop me?” Dustin’s expression remained indifferent.

“Understand that I’m giving you a chance. If you leave now, I can promise not to pursue this matter further. But if you insist on being stubborn, then you have only one path to death!” Wesley Whitman said sternly.

In front of so many people, as a General of the Dark Panther Cavalry, he naturally had to display sufficient majesty.

Even though he was being held hostage, he couldn’t show any fear.

“Wesley Whitman, I don’t want to waste any more words with you. Right now, you only have two choices: die or get lost!” Dustin was getting impatient.

He had said enough, and if there were still people obstructing him, he would have to make an example.

“Kid! Don’t challenge my bottom line!” Wesley Whitman gritted his teeth.

“I’ll count to three, and after three, if you don’t agree to leave, don’t blame me for being ruthless!” Dustin said in a deep voice.

“Do you dare!” Wesley Whitman glared at him.

“Two…”

Dustin didn’t respond to the provocation and continued to exert pressure.

Wesley Whitman began to struggle frantically, his eyes rolling white.

The fear of death began to creep into his heart.

Several times, he wanted to beg for mercy, but out of pride, he gritted his teeth and held back.

“General Whitman! Hang in there! This kid is just trying to scare you, don’t fall for it!” Trent started to encourage him.

“That’s right! Your status is noble, he wouldn’t dare to mess around!” Jacob quickly chimed in.

“Mr Rhys! General Wesley Whitman commands a hundred thousand troops. If you dare to harm him, it’s suicide!” Dylan Harmon roared.

“Two…”

Dustin ignored them and continued to exert pressure.

Wesley Whitman began to tremble all over, feeling extremely uncomfortable.

In a sense, if Wesley Whitman died, it would actually be a good thing for them.

Because once Dustin, the killer, killed Wesley Whitman, he would definitely be pursued by the Dark Panther Cavalry and even attract the attention of the legendary Garrison Office.

By then, they would be able to sleep easy.

“General Whitman! Rest assured, even if you really die, we will avenge you!” Dylan Harmon said righteously.

“Revenge?”

Wesley Whitman’s eye twitched a few times, and he almost couldn’t help but curse.

People were damn dead, and they were still talking about revenge?

“One…”

As the last count fell, Dustin’s eyes suddenly overflowed with murderous intent.

A terrifying chill erupted.

Wesley Whitman shivered all over, feeling that death was imminent, as if he had fallen into an abyss.

At this moment, he was absolutely certain that the person in front of him truly dared to kill him!

“Wait…”
